It hurts… I know…
I understand how you feel
Though you try not to show

When she ignored you
And followed another
Right in front of you

When she denied you
And flirted with others
Right in front of you

When she only spoke of him
The whole night long
Till the candles are dim

When she ran next to him
Where she seems to belong
Making your chances slim

It hurts… I know…
I understand how you feel
Though you never did show

I know… I see… my dear
I am listening, I understand
I empathize, I comprehend
I am beside you, right here

When you are next to her
She makes your day brighter
You wish it would last forever
And just for you it is my prayer

When she is silent, she shimmers
As if rose blossoms in the summer
An Angel with soft tender features
That you would just like to capture

Yet you tell me it will never be
That you… she just doesn’t see
Despite that long hopeless sigh
Still… I encouraged you to try

I know… I see… have no fear
I am listening, I understand
I empathize, I comprehend
I am beside you, right here

Sleepless midnights trying to figure her out
The first thing you see when you are awake
And the last thing you imagine before light’s out
Willingness to go through all for her sweet sake

The next rhythm of your breath is of hope to be with her
The pulse of your heart races to find her in your embrace
The loneliness of your soul thirst for companionship with her
The core of your spirit has accepted her weaknesses with grace

I know how true your heart is
I realize how cruel destiny is
I ought to know and I really do
Coz’ that is how I feel towards you…
