THINGS HAS FALLEN PERFECTLY RIGHT

Poem composed on August 24, 2009

Peering outside of the window
In the sea of silvery moonbeam
Suddenly… I saw your shadow
In the limelight of the moonlight

The light of the night may be low
But still enchanting was the gleam
That revealed your figure in a glow
Captured as an unforgettable sight

Into the imagination I started to flow
Deeper and deeper into the dream
Of you embracing me soft and slow
Under the fullmoon holding me tight

Where things has fallen perfectly right

Composed at Blackcat jazz lounge, while listening to jazz and peering outside of the window where the fullmoon hailed inspiration and imagination. In terms of style, I am trying a new kind of rhyme; abac, abac, abac, c...

IT WAS YOUR EXISTENCE

Poem composed on August 17, 2009

The ultimate difference
In the lounge’s ambience
And the jazzy experience
Was simply your existence

Between us there might be silence
Still passion was the single essence
You told me I was full of nonsense
To me you were full of magnificence

AS LONG AS YOU ABANDON ME NOT

Poem composed on July 25, 2009

Rescue me out of my sanity
Help me indulge in my sensitivity
Seduce me with all of your sensuality
And torment me to the utmost severity
Coz’ only then will I reach the ultimate serenity

Spurn me, strike me but leave me not
For that heartlessness I do sought
Slash me, strangle me but hate me not
For that mercilessness I give no thought
As long as you abandon me not

INCOMPLETE

Poem composed on August 10, 2009

The tale discourses with the first meet
And right from the very first greet
This gentle heart skipped a few beat
Completely mezmerized in the heat

After which with each of our meet
Into a brand new purpose you lead
And inspired me into better deeds
Once again I was back on my feet

Yet again the past came to repeat
You left me with this empty seat
My energy for life is fast to deplete
Yet my ego would not let me plead

Into this dark dungeon I retreat
My own thoughts I try to cheat
This mind I wish you could read
For I’ve just realized I am incomplete

I’M HERE TO STAY… RIGHT HERE…

Poem composed on August 10, 2009
This is my 100th poem! I’ve reached the milestone!

Through every season of the year
Through the course of my tears
I had all of your listening ears
You were always there to hear

Listening to your lovely laughter
Under the sunshine of summer
When autumn leaves are falling
Still… passion we are growing

In an embrace bracing together
Through the coldness of winter
And when finally arrives spring
Once again passion is blooming

I am right here, my dear…
I will always be near
So let your doubts disappear
Ease yourself from any fear

I am here to stay… right here…

A rare happy poem coming out of pathetic poet passionate poem! This is a duet poem, possibly a lyric to another epithalamium (simply said a wedding song). The ending verse is to be recited together by both the masculine and feminine voice for a unified ending.

ALL IT TAKES... WHAT MAKES...

Poem composed on August 7, 2009 (supposed to be lyric to a jazzy song)

Your lips… is all it takes
For me to turn and flip
Your lips… is what makes
Me unable to sleep
Your lips…

Your kiss…is all it takes
For me to be in bliss
Your kiss… is what makes
Me unable to miss
Your kiss…

Reff:
So baby please… don’t ever leave
Stay… and make me feel at ease
Baby please, please… don’t ever release
Hold me in your embrace and let me tease
Baby please, please, please…

Your eyes… is all it takes
For me to realize
Your eyes… is what makes
Me sigh and sigh and sigh
Your eyes…

Your gaze… is all it takes
For me to be amazed
Your gaze… is what makes
Me trapped in a maze
Your gaze…

Reff:
So baby please… don’t ever leave
Stay… and make me feel at ease
Baby please, please… don’t ever release
Hold me in your embrace and let me tease
Baby please, please, please…

I GUESS I’M SINNING

Poem composed on August 7, 2009

The mark, I’ve missed
The target, I’ve slipped
The standard, I’ve flipped
The Devil, I’ve kissed...

Danger I’ve seduced
Indulgence I’ve induced
Warning I’ve reduced
Trouble I’ve produced

Evil I’m entertaining
Conscience I’m ignoring
Consequences I’m denying
I guess… I’m sinning

This poem is the first step towards recognizing that one is sinning… That initial realization…
